The Villages’ dining scene is heating up, with several new restaurants set to open in the coming months—each bringing its own unique flavor to Florida’s largest retirement community. From Chicago-style favorites to lakeside seafood and artisan pizza, residents will soon have even more options to satisfy every craving.
Portillo’s – Known for its Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, and famous chocolate cake shakes, Portillo’s will open at the Middleton Town Center on August 12, 2025.

Harry and the Natives – This Old Florida–themed waterfront restaurant will debut along Lake Okahumpka this summer, offering fresh seafood, tropical cocktails, and live music in a relaxed tiki-style atmosphere. Perfect for a sunset dinner or weekend gathering with friends.
Piesano’s Stone Fired Pizza – Coming this fall to Southern Trace Plaza, Piesano’s will serve made-from-scratch, stone-fired pizzas, pasta dishes, fresh salads, and sandwiches. Known for its generous portions and quality ingredients, it’s a great spot for both casual lunches and family dinners.
Lucky Goat Coffee & Tacos and Tequila – At Eastport, residents can soon enjoy two new additions: Lucky Goat Coffee, serving locally roasted coffee, espresso drinks, and fresh pastries; and Tacos and Tequila, a lively Mexican restaurant with street tacos, fajitas, margaritas, and specialty cocktails.
Hooters – Recently opened in The Villages, Hooters is serving its signature wings, burgers, seafood platters, and ice-cold beer in a casual, sports bar atmosphere. Its arrival has already drawn large crowds and sparked plenty of conversation.
With such a variety of new flavors arriving, The Villages continues to expand its already diverse dining scene—giving residents more reasons than ever to gather, eat, and enjoy life right in their own community.
